Nicolas Sarkozy served from 2007 till 2012, he was found guilty of trying to illegally obtain information from a senior magistrate in 2014 about an ongoing investigation into his campaign finances. The judge sentenced him for 3 years and suspended 2 years which he does not need to spend them in jail but to wear a bracelet and stay home.
